NBS Finance

Privacy Policy

How NBS Finance collects, uses, shares and retains personal information when you visit the website, contact us or make a commercial funding enquiry.

Last updated: 24 August 2026

NBS Finance is a commercial finance broker and introducer, not a lender. Finance is subject to status, provider assessment and terms. An introduction does not guarantee an offer of finance.

Who we are and what this policy covers

NBS Finance is an unincorporated commercial-finance broker and introducer operating from Pinfold Lane, Southport, Merseyside, PR8 3QL. For privacy questions or requests, email info@nbsfinance.co.uk or call 07849 709772.

This page explains how information is handled when you visit this website, contact NBS Finance or use the commercial funding-enquiry form. A lender, funder or broker partner receiving an introduction provides its own privacy information for processing it controls.

Information you may provide

Information may include your name, role, business and contact details; what the business wants to buy, refinance or fund; information about assets, suppliers, invoices, debtors, customers, contracts, trading history and existing finance; documents you choose to provide; and communications about the enquiry.

Please do not send passwords, card PINs or unrelated sensitive personal information.

Purposes and lawful bases

NBS Finance uses information to respond to an enquiry, understand the business requirement, discuss possible funding routes, prepare an introduction if you choose to continue, protect the service against misuse, manage records and deal with legal claims, complaints or data-protection requests.

NBS Finance normally relies on legitimate interests in operating and protecting a commercial-finance introduction service and responding to business enquiries. It may also rely on steps taken at your request before entering an arrangement and on legal obligations where they apply. Enquiry details are not used for electronic marketing without a separate lawful basis.

Where an introduction is progressed, the lender, funder or broker partner carries out its own assessment and controls the information it uses for that purpose. The form adapts questions to your answers but does not make a solely automated lending decision or approve or decline finance.

Sharing, processors and international transfers

Relevant information is shared with a lender, funder or broker partner only after a possible route has been discussed with you and you choose to continue. Information may also be disclosed where the law requires it or where reasonably necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. NBS Finance does not sell personal information.

Duda provides website hosting. Vercel provides form hosting and private file storage, and Neon provides the enquiry database. These suppliers process information under their service terms and security controls. Where a supplier processes information outside the UK, NBS Finance relies on an appropriate transfer safeguard where required.

Retention and security

New or unsuccessful enquiry records are scheduled for review after 12 months. Records for enquiries that progress are scheduled for review after 24 months. Uploaded bank statements are scheduled for separate review after 90 days. A review may lead to deletion, anonymisation or a documented extension where information is still needed for an enquiry, complaint, legal obligation or legal claim. Technical security-event records are normally kept for no more than 90 days; rate-limit and duplicate-submission records are normally kept for no more than two days.

No online service can promise absolute security. Use the contact details below if you believe information has been sent to the wrong place or handled incorrectly.

Your data-protection rights

Depending on the circumstances, UK data-protection law may give you rights to access, correct or erase information, restrict or object to its use, and receive certain information in a portable form. You may also withdraw consent where consent is the basis being used. Some rights have exceptions.

Email info@nbsfinance.co.uk with the subject “Privacy request” or call 07849 709772. You can also raise a concern with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.
